The Robie
Foundation (TRF) is a 501c3 Not For Profit organization that was founded
when a healthy boy named Robie died unexpectedly of Sudden Cardiac Death. Robie
was approaching his 4th birthday that he would have celebrated with his sisters, Sophia & Grace, as only triplets can.
Robie had a Congenital Heart Defect.
The mission of TRF is to bring awareness about Congenital Heart Defects in children
and help prevent Sudden Cardiac Death by early detection.
The goal
of TRF is to offer free heart screenings to school age children and to promote awareness about Automated
External Defibrillators (AEDs), as well as the placement of AEDs in our schools and accessibility at all sporting events.
One day, we plan to change legislation to insure that
AEDs are in all schools and that the teachers, coaches and school staff are trained properly of the chain of survival, how
to perform CPR and use an AED.
Ultimately we want to save lives.........one heart
at a time.
